We're celebrating the farm this autumn from Saturday 14 - Sunday 22nd March 2026. Join us for paddocks full of fun perfect for the whole whānau.

Become a farm apprentice
Ever dreamed of being a farmer? Head to Huia Lodge Discovery Hub and pick up your free apprentice guide packed with fun farm activities to complete as you explore Cornwall Park. Complete all the tasks, and you’ll earn a special medallion to celebrate your farming skills!
Designed for kids ages 8+ but open to apprentice farmers of all ages. Younger apprentices may need grown up assistance.
Huia Lodge Discovery Hub is open Thursday to Tuesday 10am-4pm and Wednesdays 12-4pm.

Farm Trail
Do ewe love our sheep and cows? Would you like to learn more? Wander along our paddock fence lines to discover a year on the Cornwall Park farm.
From crops to cows, fence building to farm dogs learn all about our agricultural mahi on this self guided trail.
This trail follows the fence line along Twin Oak Drive from the closest car park to the Cornwall Park farm gates. There is no pathway and the ground is flat but uneven.

Saturday 14 March
Moo-sic a concert for the cows
We're hosting a concert for the cows and you're invited! Enjoy a relaxing easy listening evening of the cow's favourite moosic - reggae.
This exclusive ticketed event will give you access to the Cornwall Park farm yards for an intimate concert.
All tickets are general admission with seats provided. Gates open at 4.30pm. Late admission will not be permitted.
Ticket holders will be sent access instructions closer to the event date.

Tickets are $24 per person, and will go on sale on Tuesday 10 February.

Sunday 15 March
Farm to Fibre
Flock to Huia Lodge and explore how wool fibres go from farm to scarves and even space ships!
Drop in between 1-3pm, there will be fun displays and activities for the whole whānau.

Tuesday 17 March
Meet the machinery
Jump aboard the Cornwall Park machinery express! Some of Cornwall Park’s hard-working farm machines will be parked for kids to discover and imagine themselves zooming around the park.
Machines will be stationary and unable to be turned on or moved. Parental supervision is required.
Drop in between 11am-1pm. The machinery will be parked in Chestnut Paddock near the farm gate on Twin Oak Drive.
See all the machines the farmers use to look after the land and our animals. This event is weather dependent.

Wednesday 18 March
Guided Walk Farm
Join our farm manager for an educational walk through our farm. You will learn about the farm's history, the livestock and what our farmers do daily.
The walk may go through paddocks and turnstiles, it is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs.
Don't forget your sunscreen, raincoat and water bottle. Suitable clothing and footwear are necessary. This walk goes ahead rain or shine. We will cancel the event via email on Wednesday morning if the weather is extreme.
No dogs are permitted on this walk.

Saturday 21st March
Tamariki Imagination Farm
Our Discovery Hub team will lead this walk which encourages tamariki to use their imagination and learn about the Cornwall Park farm.
Suitable for kids ages 3+, grown-up participation is encouraged. Please dress for the weather conditions, wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink bottle as we will be leaving pathways behind. Prams are suitable if they can be used on grass.
You won't be touching any farm animals during this walk but you will be guided through their paddocks.
This walk goes ahead rain or shine. We will cancel the event via email on Saturday morning if the weather is extreme. No dogs are permitted on this walk.

Sunday 22nd March
Do ewe know? Paddock picnic quiz
Do ewe know your pop stars from your crop stars?
Round up your quiz flock and take your smarts from the pub to the paddock in this fun general knowledge challenge!
How it works:
- Gather a team of up to six clever sheep (friends, whānau or fellow trivia buffs).
- Pack your curiosity alongside your picnic baskets and settle in for an afternoon of laughs and learning.
- Compete for over $500 of park-inspired prizes.
This event is based in one of our paddocks and you will be quizzing alongside a flock of our sheep.
