Auckland Archery Club

Auckland Archery Club welcomes all archers from beginners to experienced competitors. If you have never had the opportunity to shoot and would like to try, there are two “Have a Go” sessions a year. If you are keen to continue after your first try, you can join its beginner’s line. If you have played archery before, contact the club about becoming a member.

Auckland Joggers Club

Auckland Joggers Club is a social running and walking club. It has about 230 members ranging in age from 20 to 70 and has a range of packs for all fitness levels, including beginner running groups. They're a great group of fun people of all ages who enjoy keeping fit and taking part in events and they welcome visitors and new members.

The Auckland Rugby League (ARL) was founded in 1909 and is the largest affiliate of the New Zealand Rugby League (NZRL). The League is made up of 32 clubs spread throughout the Auckland Region stretching from Rodney in the north to Waiuku in the south.

Carlton Cornwall Bowls

Carlton Cornwall is one of the proudest and most progressive bowling clubs in Auckland and the country. Its facilities include three natural bowling greens and an architecturally designed clubhouse and it welcomes casual or competitive bowlers and their guests and business groups for bowls and functions. It provides coaching and can supply bowls until you are ready to buy your own and it has a wide range of competitions to suit every level of bowler.

Cornwall Cricket Club is the largest cricket club in Australasia. It is known for its scenic grounds within the bounds of Cornwall Park, and the production of notable representative players, including Martin Crowe, Mark Greatbatch and Katie Perkins. The cricket club has a long history and opened on its current site in 1955.

Grammar TEC Rugby Football Club - Cornwall Park

Grammar TEC Rugby Football Club has three facilities: Orakei Domain, Cornwall Park and Thomas Bloodworth Park (Shore Rd) with clubrooms and lit fields for training and play. With history dating to 1873, it was a founding member of the Auckland Rugby Football Union formed in 1883 via its Grafton history. Notable players have included Bert Cooke, Wilson Whineray, Fred Allen, Kel Tremain, and Alan and Gary Whetton. It currently has 10 teams playing in senior Auckland Rugby competitions and over 1000 registered juniors.

Campbell Park Tennis Club is a family friendly and sociable club, offering all levels of tennis to all ages of players. It has six floodlit tennis courts including three Plexicushion hard courts and three premium quality synthetic grass courts. Its clubhouse is contemporary and comfortable, with a large covered balcony.

Self-led games and sports


We encourage people to make their own fun in the park — bring along a bat and ball (soft balls only please), or a soccer or rugby ball and play a game with friends. Please note we do not allow golf or golf balls, commercial activity such as boot camps, commercial signage and nothing can be tied to our trees or put into the ground such as pegs.
