On Saturday 19th January from 5-7pm Cornwall Park is going acoustic and all you have to do is relax while different musicians come to you! There will be 4 areas and 4 groups of performers that roam to you. So choose one spot, come picnic it up, bring your fav people - a date perhaps - and our roaming musicians will do the rest!

You will be entertained by the zesty Soul-pop offerings of Lucky May, the singer/songwriter Ellie Redmond, Nathan and Campbell the dynamic duo and 3 young talented musicians from the Crescendo Trust of Aotearoa (Keegan Tunks, MAIAVA, Sefo Ulberg).

Keegan Tunks is a multi-instrumentalist musician and performer with 13 years of experience. The son of a funk guitarist and a Sheffield punk rocker, Keegan has been surrounded by music his entire life. Keegan enjoys and performs a wide range of musical styles and currently is a member of Ruff Copy, a professional party band, alongside his father. Keegan has performed on Mai FM, 7 Days, and was a backup singer for Adele in her most recent NZ show at Mt Smart, his biggest crowd yet. Keegan is currently in the process of writing and recording his debut EP of original material.
Mahaani Maiava is currently studying at EXCEL School of Performing Arts as a Vocal Major. He completed a 22 week tour across NZ with EXCEL but is also a passionate Singer-Songwriter & Producer. A Crescendo Artist he performs solo recently with a 4-piece Band. Be prepared to be entertained with Roots and Soul music for his solo set.
Sefo Ulberg, born and raised in Mngere, South Auckland. An R&B, Soul, multi genre artist who's just keen to take on the world with his music.
Ellie is a singer/songwriter from Taupō. She has opened for Lynyrd Skynard, 10cc and Starship. With plans to go to Nashville next year, Ellie is also in the middle of recording her first EP that will be released this year.
Nathan and Campbell are a dynamic duo that specialise in harmonies and pop music, whether you're into hits from the 80s or the latest tracks from 2018!
Lucky May are an Auckland-based acoustic trio, performing sassy originals to a wide range of classic covers with their own zesty Soul-pop twist. The band have been traveling around the South Pacific performing on cruise lines this year and are back together to share an enchanting evening of music with you in Cornwall Park. Equipped with 2 guitars, a bass, box of percussion and some powerful vocals, Lucky May will be roaming around the park serenading you!
