Autumn Guided Walk - Archaeology with Garry Law

Learn and discover at Cornwall Park this May with our Autumn Guided Walks series. Expert guides will share their knowledge of Cornwall Park each Sunday in May. Get in quick to reserve your spot!

On Sunday 20th join Garry Law to be walked though the archaeology around Cornwall Park.

This guided walk highlights the archaeological features of the maunga - both the historical features that can be seen on the surface relating to Maori occupation and the later features that are also apparent. Archaeological excavation around Cornwall Park has been minimal but what has occurred helps in understanding its history and use, which we look forward to sharing with you.

Registration is essential and numbers are limited. To register please email with the name of the walk you would like to do, your name and phone number and how many people you would like to register for.

Please dress for the weather conditions, wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink bottle with you.

Meet at the Huia Lodge Information Centre at 10am.
